“Bukom Banku has threatened to kill me but I have plans to silence him”…..Sweenity

Controversial hiplife artist Sweenity has incurred the wrath of undefeated Super Heavyweight boxer, Braimah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku over some lines in his latest song ‘Atisem’ which he deems insulting.

In the song Sweenity opines that, the aftermath of the boxers bleaching of his skin and his “new complexion have made him look scary”. This seems not to have gone down well with the boxer who in a video alerted both Bice Osei Kuffour aka Obour, the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana and Shatta Wale the President of Shatta Movement that,  he would beat and destroy Sweenity for “insulting” him in the song.                                                         In the same video, Bukom Banku revealed that he has instructed his bodyguards to mount a search for him. He further stated that he “..will catch the guy and kill am”

In an interview with Evans Nana Yaw Quaye popularly known as THE SHAKER, on this past Saturday’s edition of “THE BOX” show on Green Fm, Sweenity explained that, “those lines in the song were to demonstrate to people who are bleaching or intend to do so that, when they do so and later stop, their skin colour will become scary and so I used Bukom Banku as an example”

He revealed that he will treat Banku’s threats with all the seriousness they deserve but when the host asked if that meant he would make an official report to the police, he said no but whatever he would do to silence the boxer, he surely would do.

He claimed that if the boxer is threatening to kill him, he would demonstrate to him that, he is a “real killer”. The host then asked if he was suggesting he would kill Bukom Banku first, he responded in the negative stating that, ” no i will not kill him but there are a lot of things one could do but i wont say it because people may steal the idea”
