FIFA President Gianni Infantino has advised the Ghana Football Association to publish details of its financial statement regularly to wipe out perception of corruption at the FA.
The GFA headed by Kwesi Nyantakyi has been accused by a section of the public of being corrupt on several occasions.
According to Infantino, this new directive will ensure good governance and transparency at the FA.
The directive by the FIFA boss is also part of a new reform for all member associations to make its financial statement public annually.
“One of the criteria is the publication of the accounts of the association, this must be public and it must be open and everyone must know where the money is coming from and where the money is going,” Infantino said.
The FIFA president was in Ghana on a one-day working visit to inspect some projects by the FA on football development.
Infantino also met President Akufo-Addo for talks at the Flagstaff House.
