Lebanon Explosion: At least 79 Died And 4,000 Injured

The sudden explosion which took place at their capital Beirut on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 had the city shaken with that heavy blast. This according to source began with a fire which exploded into mushroom clouds.

The President, Michel Aoun said; 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate had been stored unsafely in a warehouse for six years. He has scheduled an urgent cabinent meeting for Wednesday in order to declare the country in two-week state of emergency. The country will observe an official period of mourning for three days starting from wednesday. The government is going to release 100 billion lira ($66m) as emergency funds according to source.
