No ‘social distancing observed’ as Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II celebrates his 70th birthday with family
A couple of photos have emerged online from Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II’s 70th birthday celebration.
The birthday party as seen in the photos is a very simple one with only a few family members and probably close friends in attendance.
All persons in the photo could be seen wearing a white mixed with black clothing.
A simple cake laid on the table as everyone reached for the knife to dissect the cake.
It’s such a beautiful moment to behold just that social distancing rules weren’t followed by the royal family. These rules have become very important now especially as we battle Coronavirus.

Born Nana Barima Kwaku Duah, Otumfuo Osei Tutu was enstooled overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom on April 26, 1999. Throughout his 21-year reign, the Otumfuo has successfully made himself an emblem of leadership who has over the years grown his reputation globally.
