In an interview with Mr. John Maakpe, a member of the Public Health Unit at WA on the Anopa Bosuo Show, he confirmed that “the thieves managed to break in, took 48” inches flat screen television and a double bed mattress”. He added that as at now, they don’t have any patient with covid19 issue at their isolation Centre but they have so far recorded 22 persons in all. Out of the total number recorded, 21 have fully recovered and the other one is at WA Regional Hospital responding to treatment.
He expressed his fear over the incidence since it can lead to the spread of the virus, “For now, we are scared and worried about the stolen items which is the mattress because the person can contract the COVID-19 through the mattress and spread it to the innocent ones in the community and the country”
